Grape Guy

This screenprint is the outcome of the ‘Traveling Residency’ I did with NoPoint studio in september. One week of traveling through the mountains of Bulgaria, one week of printmaking in their studio, together with two other artists. NoPoint studio is located high up on a hill, in a very small village near Gabrovo. I spent my days there drawing in the garden, looking at the grape vines and all the bugs buzzing around it. With grape season in full-swing, I could not help it but draw the blue-purplish fruit and their amazing curly branches over and over again, resulting in this ‘Grape Guy’ print.

Printed in 4 warm & vibrant colors; a dark blue, bottle green, poppin’ orange and a strong pink.

Screenprint, 4 layers,  300 grs Olin Rough.
Size: 50 x 70 cm.
Edition of 3o, signed and numbered.

Prints come wrapped, rolled up in a tube.
